Description: Class video project for mindful learning and being physically healthy. Based on ‘Ten Mindful Movements’ (Thich Nhat Hahn) students designed their own movements based on the movements of ten different animals (e.g. elephant, bear, ants) with an emphasis on breathing throughout each movement. They created an instructional video showing students performing the movements and their instructional diagrams.
Measures of success: Use of end product for mindful time. Sharing the video with other classes and explaining the moves.
